The Year of Kat - 2008

Ok as I said in my post last night, this is a list of things I'd like to acheive or "goals" for 2008.

I dont beleive in making resolutions because there is no point in making them just because its the start of the year. Willpower can only come when your brain is clicked in adn ready to do the task at hand. So instead Im going to make a list of things that I want to accomplish over this next year.

1. Get into my post-graduate course for teaching
2. Become a volunteer for the Guides
3. Document more of my crafting and cooking
4. Learn how to knit properly (I knew how to knit but not cast on or cast off)
5. Complete 52 Craft projects
6. Explore the possibility of finding a way to deal with anger/problems etc.
7. Sell more of my handmade items
8. Fill my pound coin jar (about half way there)
9. Visit Vanessa in Canada
10. Be more outgoing and make more friends
11. Arrange a sewing group/meeting (kinda like a LAN but with sewing machines)
12. Convince Vonnie to allow me to make her wedding favours as a present to her

and finally

13. Climb the two hills behind my grans house. Ive done them once and want to experience it again. Absolutely beautiful view.

I'll teach you to cast on and cast off in return for you doing my wedding favours?
Deal...have you any ideas of how you wanted to package them?
I hadn't given it more consideration than wrapped in cellophane really.
Haha... I have... I must be really sad.

There are 3/4 options (as I hadnt considered yours)

- Boxes (expensive option)
- Drawstring bags
- Tulle and tissue paper wrapped at top with bow
-Cellophane
I do like the look of the drawstring bags but they're quite pricey too, are they not?
Aye, more so than the other two.

However, I noticed in Hobbycraft the other day that they were on a buy one get one free offer, so you were getting 20 for £4.99.
Oooooh!!
From the website it would seem you get 20 in a pack so you would get 40 overall for £4.99
